I stayed a night at this hotel and the rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is very helpful as they helped with the information about the temple and its norms also they helped us with booking taxis and making sure we get the best deals. The restaurant was really good, the staff was really good.

Swimming Pool closed and management refused to compensate

Super bad experience, cheated. With my old mom we booked this place premium double room only because of the swimming pool that i greatly enjoy. I called the hotel before booking to confirm that the pool was functional. But when we checked in, management said the pool was closed for servicing. It's a daylight robbery. Biggest twist, after some time a person in reception said you can swim now, though the pool is obviously not cleaned properly. I took a plunge while wearing proper swimming attire. Then the manager came and shouted at me that the pool was closed, why am i there! How outrageous and disrespectful! He said they have applied some dangerous chemical in the pool and i immediately went out took a shower fearing grave health concern. Rooms are not hygienic at all. At night we couldn't sleep because of the noise of repairing from the room above. Despite multiple complaints, management failed to address any. The place is also too far from the temple. Breakfast had no fruits, very sub par. Overall, a super pathetic cheap lodge with rude staff behaving like entitled morons. Never again.

This was our first visit to sopanam,we stayed in room 502,the service was beyond any description,Mr.Sanjo the f n b manager gone outside the line to make us happy,he was always with us to meet our needs,sanjo has taken special care to my 3 year old kid,which really created a wow impression,Team members like Sanjo is really an asset to the hotel,he is a man who really deserves a promotion,the food and rooms were great,thanks a lot sanjo and his team

Front office staffs were very friendly and proffessional, especially mr. Manikandan Nice stay, good breakfast, i would recommend all to have a stay here This property is very close to temple.Bathroom is a bit old but still ok for the rate, rooms are very neat and clean, Thank you Rebin menon

All in all it wS such a flamboyant experience to our family. The stay was intact the hospitality, they have offered. Pool, parking, accommodation and f&b I give intact 10 stars. So warm Front office Group. I would recommend, please don't miss Sopanam Heritage, Guruvayoor while you go there to Guruvayoor Temple. Once again my heartfelt thanks. Magesh Nair and family.
